If a Democrat had shouted "lies!" during a joint session of Congress being presided over by President George W. Bush what do you imagine that the reaction would be from the Republicans? Because, I think they would collectively shit several tons of outrage onto national television for as long as it took for that Congressional Representative to resign their seat.
But, of course, Barack Obama is a Democrat! A liberal! And a black man! (I'm really not sure what pisses off the conservatives the most out of those options, anymore.) So... no harm, no foul I geuss.
