Scrub 2

Okay, so after a few hours I was able to catch my Flight Dynamics professor. To my amazement, he was pretty cool about my missing the exam. (This was surprising given my previous experiences with him and stories I've heard.) Anyhow, I got to take the exam on the spot. This was obviously preferable to getting a straight zero, but as I said in my earlier post, I was utterly unprepared for it. This is a class that I've been rather bad about attending since I knew I could catch up pretty easily because he goes straight off the notes he printed in the course packet. However, I never did that catching up since I didn't know about the test. I'm pretty sure I got at least 20% on the test, but beyond that it's a toss-up. I may end up having to drop the class, which would really suck since the professor is the only one who teaches the class, and he's the graduate advisor for the department (and I want to go to grad school).

This is by far the worst mistake of my college career to date. I suppose in the grander scheme of things it's not so bad, but it's still something I would rather have avoided.
