THE MOST AMAZING THING I HAVE SEEN SINCE I'M FUCKING BEN AFFLECK.
They actually managed to make that stupid song 'Friday' sound epic.
I had another fandom dream last night, this time Supernatural-themed, which makes sense given all the talk I've been doing on here of it and the fact that I watched the Pilot/Wendigo before going to sleep (btw, is it sad that I kept hoping Callum Keith Rennie nature guide would live even though I know he dies? Sorry, but it's RAY KOWALSKI, I'M WEAK.)
So anywho, Sam and Dean had to navigate this deadly maze someone set for them. The rules were that you couldn't get off one trap or do an obstacle ahead of another because that would set off a ton of explosives or something like that, so each time they screwed up, they had to rest the whole thing and start over. Some of the obstacles were strange, like they had to grill steaks and then had to reset the trap when they didn't saute some onions and mushrooms. Then there was one where Dean had to choose which one mattered more to him, his car or Sam, and go down that tunnel, and of course he chose the Sam one and he accidentally called Sam his 'baby' like his car. I must have internalized the squee I felt during the pilot when instead of instantly worrying about his car, Dean is totally focused on getting Sam safe and then only bitching about the car when all is well. Eventually it sort of tapers off when there's a dessert baking thing and there's this nasty desert of like three different puddings and fruits and then Meri (Merry? Don't know how to spell it) from the Psych episodes with the Yin Yang killer goes in to help figure things out and then my mind switches off Supernatural and goes to Psych, but it's just sort of a rehash of actual episode moments before I woke up.
