I've been putting off posting this because really when I got toward the end of the list, the latter three seasons of Supernatural started to look less horrible, but then I decided to post anyway because, damn it, I spent a long while thinking up and writing this down. I guess, depending on its reception, we'll see how smart a decision that was.

Disappointment, ho! )
Oh man, I think if I included 'people they shouldn't have killed off', the bitchiness of this post would have gone overboard. I LOVED what they did with Hendrickson, made him an antagonist and then a potential hunter and then DEAD for no reason aside from DRAMA. Wouldn't it have been awesome to have him drop in from time to time? And then killing Ash, that was a bummer (even if he did sort of come back in Dark Side of the Moon when the boys went to heaven. Yeah, tell me THAT doesn't sound like a good 'ol spn episode) but then they killed Ellen and Jo. Why the fuck couldn't they have left them alone? And in the same episode they died, I was finally starting to like Jo because she turned Dean down for end-of-the-world sex and how awesome is it for a girl to be that moral, especially given that she used to have a big crush on Dean? I'm so tired of them killing off so many characters that we're left with only a couple and they keep making up more just so they can kill them again. /rant

And though I never was into Wincest, I do miss all the gay subtext that they used to hit us over the head with. For instance, the episode where they said they were antiquing and the hotel clerk assumed they were gay. Then Sam had his epic bout of drunkeness with his arm in a cast and was so fucking adorbs that I went into sugar shock!
Ah! The good ole days. I miss 'em. And why do all the strong women have to be evil, killed or both? Huh? I'd like to know. I loved Ellen. She was freaking awesome. And I can't quite equate young Mary who was brazen and badass with soft as silk momma Winchester. She had the exact opposite arc from John, it seems.
And I still remember the car crash at the end of season one! I remember gasping and clutching my chest I had such a strong reaction. My first thought was 'my boys' immediately followed by 'THE CAR!'. That summer hiatus was a bitch, man. Let me tell you.
Also, I never liked either Ruby. The only one I liked was the pit-stop she made in the big, black waitress before she took over Ruby 2.0. Now THAT WOMAN IMPRESSED ME! Meg was my demon of choice, but hey, they killed her off too. Along with Eva and Ash *sobs* and ANDY!!!
And then they erased the gay subtext with one fell swoop and went christian on our asses. Now I like biblical themes even though I am an Atheist but damn, they did shove it down our throats a bit forcefully. The DaVinci Code was subtler than Kripke.
And I got way off track but I haven't had an opportunity to bitch about the wrongness of this show in EVER because my ex-bff was as devoted to it as I am to Trek and would shoot me down before I could explain my point. Then she would attack K/S and I would have to leave the room before I plucked out her eyeballs for challenging my OTP. So, yeah. lol

omg, I said the exact same thing about Ruby possessing the maid. I was like, 'why can't we get THAT lady as Ruby?'
Did they kill off Meg? I thought she escaped after Crowley died? This is how well I follow canon now. :/
I COULD NOT IMAGINE THE HIATUS AFTER THE FIRST SEASON FINALE. Christ on a bike.
Oh, bitch away, I love it. I would have plucked her eyeballs out, and I love how you note that she's an 'ex' bff. Clearly anyone who doesn't fully worship K/S is not quality.
