I really enjoyed this story. Genderbending Spock is always tricky but you did it in an interesting way, especially with making up an alien female anatomy. Your Kirk reacting to Bones's description of how Spock got his new parts cracked me up. Not to mention the ejaculating plants! Good job :)

I'm so happy you liked it! :D And yeah, I debated endlessly over the near rape scene because as you've said, it was incredibly serious, but then I figure if I'm going to go the way of crewmen attacking Spock, you may as well go all the way and really highlight the danger of not acting. I think Spock didn't really get the idea of how it was affecting him personally. All that time he was thinking of the ship's safety and he thought he could take care of himself and even blamed himself when things went wrong (the guard almost phasering him in the head) and that was when he realized that, oh yeah, he's not invincible and whatever he felt for Jim, it at least was consensual and he was letting his feelings get in the way of letting his friend help.

So in short, thank you. :)
