Can someone recommend the absolute best episodes, perhaps one or two? I just finished watching the first one, 'Rose', and, well, I thought it was stupid. I don't want to judge an entire show based on one episode, though, so this is why I'm asking for the best. It's not that I have good taste in female characters, it's that I have NO taste for them, lol. It's very, very hard for me to like a female character. Not because I'm a mysogynist or something, but simply because I believe that tv writers hardly ever write female characters properly, so now I'm curious to see the other females to see if there's one I might actually like.

The campiness is definitely a put-off for me. I watched "New Earth" tonight and it was just okay. While some ideas were good, like the human race evolving and solving diseases by creating people just to be sick and alone all their lives, I was majorly put off by the silliness. I mean, don't get me wrong, I appreciate campiness. I'm a fan of Star Trek TOS. But while ST had to be campy and had to use cheap specials effects because they had no money and it was the 60's, this is a show in the 2000's, and it annoys me that it's so campy in spite of obviously having the money for good special effects.

But on a positive note, I watched "Blink" and DAMN, that was a good episode. It at least made me want to try more, so that's good.
