See I thought it wasn't about not liking Spock/Uhura for everyone, but I'm curious to see if the opinion is even on that score or if you're one of the exceptions.
And yes, Kirk's smile is so different when he looks at Spock, it's just ♥. :D

I don't even like Arthur/Gwen on the show, so that sucks because it makes the show much less enjoyable. :( It may make me seem shallow, but really I was apparently more into the show because of the slash, and now that there isn't, the show wasn't that great to me by itself, if that makes sense. It sounds like I'm a douchebag, but there you go. *shrugs*

Basically I'm just weird. Also Trek was my very first fandom; maybe that has something to do with it.

And I don't know, Kirk/Spock has become my main OTP and it's stupid how territorial I've become over them, especially TOS. I've never had a fandom in which you could not persuade or argue with me about a pairing's rightness, even Due South (though it's the definitely second in terms of OTP. I need to watch a few episodes, I'm jonsing for it again.)
