About damn time I did this again, I truly am lazy. Also my flist writes, and I know spuffyduds and sineala have great fics, respectively, that I have not recced yet. IF YOU ARE ON MY FLIST AND YOU HAVE WRITTEN STAR TREK FIC, LINK ME BECAUSE I HAVE NOT BEEN KEEPING UP WELL WITH MY FLIST. It's funny, in the new movie Kirk/Spock is the only thing I don't ship. But it's my OTP in TOS. I'm an odd duck, I know.

That really IS strange, but you know, I get it. After all, they kind of changed a lot of dynamics, like making it pretty much a Kirk and Spock story instead of a Kirk/Spock/McCoy thing going. *small, lone tear falls at the lack of McCoy in the new movie* If it wasn't for TOS, my love would have fizzled easily because the new movie is gen, gen, het all the way without knowing about what they could become.

Haha, yeah, there is a whole lot of gen and het in the new movie. But there was a bit of Bones/Kirk and everyone and their mom ship Pavel/Everyone (I don't... well, not always). The TOS keeps a lot of things alive and burning. ♥
