Graduation & All-Night Party!!!
I cannot believe that everything that just happened this past weekend! High School Graduation, the all-night party, Seminary Graduation and graduation parties. Their was so much to do this weekend. I also went and saw Shrek 2 with Jenn, Jackie and Jackie's friend, Brittany Talbot. Let's start off with graduation.
Everyone looked SOOOO good for graduation. Waiting in the small gym for the ceremony to start was awesome. I realized that this was the last time that I would see the majority of my class. It was both thrilling and painful to realize that we would no longer be together. As we were finally getting ready to walk out, we did the signature Franklin slow clap and and realized that that would probably be the last time I would hear it. We all walked out and it was amazing to see so many of my favorite teachers and friends there. I'm going to truly miss the majority of the teachers I had. The national anthem was then played once we got to our seats. The band sounded really good, too! Then Lucas took forever rambling on about who knows what. When they had Chris speak it was hilarious. He was talking about squirrels and chipmunks. After that a bunch of people spoke and then they presented our diplomas. Of course, I was the last person to receive mine----except the class officers. After that, we listened to a few more people, and finally filed out and took pics with family & the Jespersen's. I think its because we practiced so much that it just didn't seem like a big deal. After that, we went to Vencenzo's (unsure about the spelling). My mom made reservations and when we got there, they didn't have our table prepared. So, we waited for a good 20-45 minutes. The food was ok. It was fun eating with my family and the Jespersens. Amanda Francis, Elisa and Brett Crosby were there as well.
After dinner, I went home and got ready for the all-night party. At 10:45 I headed over to the school for the All Night Party! It was more than I could have ever imagined! This year's theme was "Postcards from the Olympics" and it couldn't have been better! I could not even tell that it was a school, it was so awesome! There was Athens, Holland, the Alps, Mexico, and China and whole bunch of other places. I got a temp tattoo and they also had a tarot card reader, palm reader, charicaturists, roulette, card tables, free food and drinks, picture places and so much more! In the field house there were karaoke, race cars, an inflatable obstacle course, a moon walk with punching gloves, a "gladiator"-fight area, and an inflatable basketball area. The best part was that we got panther money for participating in events and we could cash it in for awesome prizes! I got a boom-box, a gas card, a phone card, there were stuff like dvd players and tons of college stuff, like I mean TONS! A lot of people won microwaves, $50, rugs, fridges, tvs, DVD Players and other stuff. The best part of the night, though, was the HYPNOTIST!
Okay, I never really knew what to think of hypnotism but after what I saw I know it's real. He had people doing the craziest stuff! They thought someone pinched their butt, that their noses were made of silly putty, that the person next to them smelled really good, that the person next to them farted, that the hypnotist farted, and that a broom was really the hottest girl they had ever seen! Julie and Lisa thought that they were in a body building contest, Courtney danced like Pink, Katie Costello & Jen Nielsen danced to staying alive, Andrew Dahl danced to "shake your booty" and Tyler P. & Nick danced to a grease song! The best thing was that they were up there for an hour and a half and didn't remember a single thing. It was awesome! And I know they weren't like paid to do it or anything cuz they weren't laughing and besides, Andrew wouldn't have done any of the things he did even for a million dollars! It was awesome. I had the best night of my entire life, it was just indescribable. The parents did a great job putting it all together and it was good to have the last thing I ever do with my class to be so much fun!
