Today I woke up and my Literature class was canceled so I slept in. I watched little kids dance on Maury and my mom left to pick up Allison at Umass. Nico came over because he skips school at least once a week and we had special time and it was beautiful. Then I went to class at 1:30. First, I sat with John Gionet on the shuttle and we talked about Chuckie Cheese for the .5 aecond ride, but I forgot to say "I'm getting off" when the driver stopped at McKay. So I got off at Weston, (which is honestly 5 feet from McKay anyway) and walked from there and then SLIPPED and fell on my knee. I was so embarrassed, I didn't even slip on ice it was just snow.
Anyway, this is what my Orientation to Education class consisted of:
First she had all 7 of us stand in a circle and she would hold up pictures for a few seconds and we'd have to memorize the picture. Then she'd play music and we had to walk around and pretend to bump into each other and get mad at each other until the music stopped, and once it stopped we'd have to act out whatever it was in the picture. This woman is sooooooo weird. So the first picture was a girl praising God, the second was someone on one foot holding their nose and patting their head, and the third was this person bent over holding their ears. It was messed up. Then, she played music and we had to draw our favorite teacher of all time. I drew Mr. O'Niel because he was awesome. Then we had to say why we liked them and then we had to act like them for a minute so i just kept saying "GOSH THIS IS GREAT, YOU GUYS ARE GREAT GOSH" and I tried to make spit collect on the sides of my mouth like him. also, Jenny Jo is my new favorite person she is hilarious.
Apparently the point of this class was to help us figure out what type of teacher we wish to be. I didn't quite understand the importance of the musical posing part of class though. Anyway, I love FSC and how yesterday on my desk someone had written "The Village People will rock on forever".
