I am honestly SO happy to be at Fitchburg State now. It is so nice and easy-going there and my professors are funny and understanding, and the students are much more generous and friendly than the ones at Umass. I've already made friends in my classes and it's so nice to come home for lunch and to see my family every day. I am just really happy and I'm so glad I made the decision to transfer. I know that I will not regret coming here; some people like big schools and living on campus, but I guess it wasn't for me.
I made friends in my Literature class with this boy from New York who's in the film program. He has bad acne and stutters but he is so kind and genuine that his ugliness doesn't make me feel uncomfortable/disgusted. I guess that's one thing Umass and Fitchburg have in common; ugly people. OR MAYBE JUST EVERYONE IN THE WORLD IS UGLY.
