The memory is sealed with a kiss
my dear.
You'll always be sunshine, in my eyes.
A gentle embrace, and we'll split ways.
I won't forget walking behind
the neighborhood
alone.
You know?
With houses yet to be built.
I walked in a coat
and scarf,
and I collapsed on a curb
looking up to the sky.
Sadness ran out from my eyes
and down my cheek
when I remembered how we huddled under the stars
that night
for warmth.
I looked back at you,
moistened in tears
I care so much for you...
Elizabeth Grace.
