Dismal day??
Think not!!!! Today looked like it was going to be one of those lazy days that seem to drag on forever. I called my brother this morning to see it the kids were being good cause if they had been I was going to treat them to the movies and see Brother Bear, that was an awesome movie. On the way over my brother had a cd in that he made and Austin says "Dad put on knock, knock , knockin on heavens door" After laughing and picking my jaw up from the floor, NO WAY!!! was all I could say. Remember my nephew just turned 3 this summer. So the song comes on and Austin mummbles through most of the verse but at the chorus he breaks out singing "stomp,stomp, stompin on heavens door" hahahaha I guess at that age it is hard to get all the words correct. There was one verse that he knew word for word and it was this one
Mama put my guns in the ground

Feels like I'm knockin' on heaven's door
I asked my brother how in the world he knew the words and the song and he told me that Austin heard it when he downloaded it, then when he burned it and once when they played it in the car LOL. That song never sounded so cute as sang by both my niece and nephew. Those kids sure know how to brighten my day. I treated them to McDonalds after the movie. I couldnt think of a better way to spend a Sunday, well I could but I dont think I should post that here LOL.
