Glasses, hats, and job, oh my
Firstly,
I've heard back from the producer. He contacted me earlier today and I'm very relieved - the elapsed time had begun to make me rather tense. I had contacted him on Tuesday and he said he was filming and would get back to me "later". I assumed that meant sometime later on Tuesday or perhaps Wednesday but it wasn't until today. In the meantime I had convinced myself that this meant they were no longer interested in me, etc etc. Anyway, he told me today that he would show me around the office this upcoming Sunday at 10 am. So things seem to be going well there. He did ask about how my Arabic was going so it seems that that skill is definitely something I'll get to practice with when I start the gig.
Nothing else to report really...I was looking at some old pics of myself from high school and was amazed by how much I had changed. I'll post them sometime and you can see for yourself what I mean...it's pretty crazy.

That is all for today. That phone call was one bigass relief I tell you what. Phew.
Oh, I have also named my car. Her name is Adia. Congratulations to Ms. Andrea Arenales. She wins...recognition for having come up with the winning name :)
