Mostly an excuse to post pics
Last week went by pretty quickly, lots of pretty cool things to keep me busy.
We shot the links portion of our show last Wednesday around Dubai Media City.
And lastly, the Dubai World Cup just took place yesterday. BBC World had a corporate box which meant - free beer, free champage, free wine, free liquor, and free food. And we're talking good food too, lobster, quail all sorts of sophisticated stuff. Hell, they even had they even had aperitifs. Jackson and I didn't spend that much time there, to be honest. Kinda just dropped in to keep the free booze flowing as we walked around the World Cup looking at the people. Kimmo joined us a bit later to take part in the merriment as well Which is really what it's about, drinking and dressing up. The ladies spend between $1000 and $2000 on dresses and hats. The guys all pimp out suits.
Was a hella good time, got pretty drunk, then sobered up enough to drive home safely. As for this week, I'm not sure. I might be going to a Deep Dish concert this upcoming Thursday, I haven't decided yet. Last week was fun though.
