The day from H-E-doublehockeysticks

Dead week is officially the bane of my existence..

I have been up for the past 38 hours. It all started out as a normal Wednesday -- I woke up at 9 and went about my day as usual. We hit Mugshots for dinner, and then I headed home to work on my clinical packet and article critique. Next thing I know it's 7:30 am and I'm still typing. Yeah, I stayed up all night typing that damned shit. And I didn't even get to my critique. Fast forward to 9:00 am. I'm headed to the drink machine on the way in to work to get my lovely caffeine. So I put in my dollar ten and press Mr. Pibb. Oh I love my Mr. Pibb. But apparently God wanted to spite me, because out pops a freaking Caffeine FREE Sprite. The shitters.. So I'm slightly perturbed at the drink machine and I get over to the office, where I have jammed packed appointments for five hours. (Thank god one of the guys was cool or I really may have gone insane.) Fast forward to 2:00. This is normally when I go to City Cafe with the peeps (who I really haven't seen this week). But I hadn't read my article, much less done the critique, and it was all due at 4. So from 2-3:15 I spit out the crappiest 4 page article critique EVER. Then I get to class. And I see my friend Justin, who I, of course, tell about my shitty day. So he goes "You know that packet isn't due until next week.." I think I screamed. Apparently we all thought today but then some people got the not-today memo and some people didn't. So I started yelling profanities at the top of my lungs all the way from the parking lot to Gordon Palmer about how that fucking thing wasn't due but about how I stayed up all damned night. Needless to say I was quite pissed. My teacher said he could hear me yelling down the hall, but thank god, he couldn't hear what I was saying.

So yes, that was my day in a nutshell. Other than that, I went to the Al's, which was really fun. I officially want to be friends with Stephen Tyler Davis and Michael Freeman. They don't know me and I don't know them but they look like they're fun.

This Thursday and Sunday I went to see Two Gentleman of Verona. Twice, just because I loved it that much. I want to watch it every day -- I wish they had it on DVD.

Saturday the Trumpet Picnic got rained out. But we moved it to Dean's apt and had fun anyway. Saturday night, me, Sarah Beaver, and her friend Alex went swing dancing -- it was really fun. Fortunately there was a boy there who also didn't have a partner so I was not left alone.

Tomorrow is Formal, which should be loads o'laughs. Me and Luke are going to Depalma's beforehand and then to the dance. Me and Ashley have to set up tomorrow afternoon -- it should be slightly hectic, but it will be awesome.

Then finals are next week and camp starts on the 19th. My god that's frightening. I'm going to be a damned senior. AHHH...
