Squee for Me!
I have just found out I've won an e-book copy of Mickie B Ashling's latest book "Cleave." I am overjoyed about this. I have all the books she has published through Dreamspinner Press and I can get her books on an Aussie site that doesn't charge postage. I have been following her writing career since forever with her great stories on Midnight Whispers and just adore her writing. I had the pleasure of meeting her in NYC for our big picnic in Central Park and the Berkshires in 2009. She was a joy to talk to and she very kindly autographed her books for me to give to my LJ and RL friends as well as bringing them with her. I am so looking forward to the third book in this trilogy and will order a physical copy as well. I have all her books in my library of very treasured books.
The first book was "Cutting Cords" and the second was "Vessel." Both are outstanding. The first one just broke my heart with its pathos and the insecurity of the two characters who finally found each other.
