I raise my hands above my head

And I call out to the sky

In the hopes that you’re still here

I don’t know if you’re listening

So I won’t hold back my tears

I’ll scream out my prayer

To the distant stars above

You’re always in my heart

You’ll always have my love

I couldn’t have made it this far without you

And the strength you helped me find

Because of, or in spite of you

With that piece of your soul that’s mine

I don’t know if I’m your blessing

Or the greatest curse alive

The road I walk is different

But I can’t leave this fear behind
