I can die happily now that I know this: "Bill Nye was also the assistant of Dr. Emmett L. Brown in the live-action segments of Back to the Future: The Animated Series (1991-1993). It was on one of the episodes where Bill corrected Doc Brown on the correct pronunciation of Gigawatt (Not Jigawatt). Doc Brown fired back with a question "What are you, Bill Nye the science guy?" and it was here that a legend was born."
