i voted but the experience has been ruined for me. here's the worst thing about elections: how UNERRINGLY stupid SOME people get in support of their candidates, and how EXCUSABLE people think their actions are because "they're just 'scared' about the state the country is going to be in should candidate a or b win."
this is for the extremists in BOTH camps. stop being so closed and narrow-minded, and stop being so blind. how about calling for change in the actual electoral system (which SUCKS) and looking at the actual issues, instead of buying into the celebrity-culture, or the 'down-home good ole USA joe sixpack' shlock.
newsflash DOUCHEbags. people like YOU, who think nothing of slinging out epithets against supporters, who think nothing of carving into your face to prove some point, who think nothing of wishing a heart attack on a 70 year old man, people like YOU make the politics of our country into something corrupt and ineffectual. you support the empty rhetoric and encourage more of that, instead of forcing candidates to propose and implement viable change. (this is still for both camps, so...)
ugh. im just disgusted with how trendy voting has become. for some people, there is the spirit of democracy involved, for some, the genuine fear for the state our country, our democratic and economic processes. that's great. but for a lot of people, it's about slinging insults to others based on their individual social liberalism or conservatism.
