LONG POST AHEAD BEWARE!
have been madly busy. I've started work at hdb and it drives me asleep every single moment of the day. Good thing is, it's gonna end soon. Bad thing is, my internship will start soon after.
SO! a myriad of wonderful things happened. Met up with stef and siok for supper a few weeks back and we ate at this place along katong called old hongkong. It's open 24 hours, serves quite yummy dim sum and is a great place to sit back, pig out and chat away. Siok drove us home and its fun to have a girlfriend who can drive!
Smoking frogs with joyce and cynthia. This little food joint along bukit timah is a treasure trove of yummy and cheap western food though the crazy taxi ride prior to that made me wanna puke. We were practically clinging on for dear life and the cabby was just zooming about recklessly. PLUS! he made us read the road map for him when he got lost. Wonderful professionalism.
Dinner with jy and stef on (27th June) friday was A LONG WAIT at orchard. hahaha we waited for close to an hour just for three seats in sushi tei. Meanwhile, we just sat around in the open concept, non-existing coffee club and chatted away.
then lazy (29th June) sunday with wl! we went swimming and gave ourselves a nice new tan!:D rented the movie dvd for click but couldn't finish watching it so we met up on wed to complete the show. Sitting in front of his tv, digging into our packet dinners and watching click felt nice and sweet. I enjoy the times we meet up outside and I enjoy our lazy tv-watching days indoors too. I enjoy our swim-and-tan sessions. I enjoy the moments we spend together cos he always make me smile!(:(:
ftb faci workshop camp last (5-6 July) weekend. The third and last training camp before the real thing in aug (Yes, i know. We have SO many training camps, its hard to believe!). I had a fun time and my group was really quite a laugh!:D Our activities ended damn late on the first night so we had to troop over to cine to eat our dinner-turned-supper. Ate at the hongkong cafe with 8 of us squashed into a teeny booth for 6 but we were so famished, we just ignored everything else. But joel injured his arm during the last activity and the ambulance that came to take him was HILARIOUS.
Then bidding woes that saw joyce, cyn and i fretting at carls' jr, staring intently at cyn's lappy and... feeling sian about school. BIDDING SUCKS. but at least it (hopefully) ensures my project group mates. unless some conk prof decides to arrange for us which, i propose, will render him qualified for a bed in IMH.
Tuesday 8th July, after my tuition session, i met up with eunice and shu for a quick girly chat session at city hall's ben n jerry! omg it has been so long since i last caught up with those girls because our schedules always clash! little busy bumblebees:D was a nice relaxed and fun night filled with yummy ice cream, lovely doughnuts, great gossip and of cos, love from the girls!
SATURDAY! out with wl to watch red cliff and explore the home decor fair at expo where we learn some stuff from the arty farty designers. wl was especially funny yesterday and made me laugh from the moment we met till the moment i reached home. I think I must have missed him so much that everything he does just tickles me. :D:D:D or he was secretly training his joking techniques at home over the last weekend! i had a great day out with him and truly enjoyed every moment we spent together. :)
