Tue was day to cut hair and day to eat nice food at chinatown! After my haircut (which everyone insisted was not an obvious cut), I went shopping with my mum and got her a mother's day present. Rather belated, I know. But rather late than never! :D
Met up with tx this week! Ate at Kim Gary at vivo, yakked non stop and laughed madly at stuff. I love catching up with her my dear laopengyou! Absolutely awesome.
Fri night had dinner with cynthia, joyce and ellen to celebrate cyn's birthday! The pizzas were great as usual and the buffalo wings were uber spicy. But! Our food was infested with ants! That kind of ruined my mood. I was not particularly fond of sharing my delicious food with a bunch of brown icky creepy crawlies. Plus my stomach was experiencing a bad bout of indigestion/wind/bloatedness/gastrics. Yes yes I know. It's my own fault that I never made any effort to eat promptly and my recent eating schedule had been badly skewed, no thanks to back to back twc and finance classes. Maybe that's why both cyn and I had stomach problems.
Sat! Out with wl, and it was a day to explore the SINGAPORE RIVER! hahaha ok basically I wanted to eat the paper steamboat at waraku so I made a booking for a seat facing the river, in hopes of watching the sun setting with its last glows lighting up the Singapore River. But! After we were done with dinner, the sun was still shining brightly above clarke quay and the restaurant was super humid. So we decided to explore the riverside, with a nice pizza from a cafe downstairs! Took a ton of pictures. Shall post when wl sends them over!
Sunday was spent with family. Auntie Linda had a bbq so we all trooped over earlier to prepare the food and to accompany granny with mahjong. Uncle Anthony came back from China for a week! So gran, mum, anthony and I played for 4 hours. It's really a game of endurance. Yeah, then bowled with my bro. BBQ!
Today's wed and I'm back in twc class. My gastrics had recovered over the long weekend but the minute i stepped into class, it all started up again. Doesn't take a genius to guess why.
i think david cook might not win AI tonight. :(:(:( which is sad cos i think he is truly talented.
