(no subject)
it's been such an incredible whirlwind. my cny break is gonna be over soon! blimey, time passes so fast!
so chuxi was spent with family eating sakura jap buffet for reunion dinner. i love eating out for reunion dinner. cuts down on the fuss and the chore and it keeps everyone happy. (:
then chu yi went to the temple to pray, visited my paternal gran's house and stayed for a record-breaking SHORT amount of time. i think we only stayed for half an hr which is undoubtedly FANTASTIC. i mean, nobody's complaining. i couldn't wait to leave. went to bugis afterwards for lunchie at PASTAMANIA. seriously, i would rather just pay and eat out than to watch my mum cook and dirty the entire place, after which she still has to clean up. i mean if 7 bucks can minimise all those trouble, why not?
went home to rest and fell asleep on the couch! that was how tired i was. a ringing doorbell jerked me out of my cny dreams and i opened the door with bleary eyes to be greeted by wl and his oranges! he came over to bai nian and then i went over to his house to bai nian. gosh his place has SO MANY CNY GOODIES! im not a great fan of titbits but since it's cny, i decided im justified to let myself go once in a year and i gorged happily on the bakkwa! oh and kueh lapis. i think i ate 3 chunks.
ok i know im quite a health freak but oh well, it's CNY. which chinese doesn't eat crap on cny?
wl drove me back to my maternal gran's house where i had my first in-house reunion dinner!:D plus a lot more bakkwa and assorted titbits all at one go. AHA! and after the meal, wl scored more points (he already has a lot) with my mum by fetching her and bro back home after which we went out for a movie! CJ7!!! damn cute. IT HAS A BIG HEAD. ive told all of u that THINGS WITH BIG HEADS LOOK CUTE!
chuer... MUMMY COOKED. so much for me trying to prevent her from dirtying the kitchen. haha! and i gorged on my solero spilt AND THEN. i came down with a phenomenal stomach upset. hmm. chu san... dinner at HIP DINER at bugis with wl then shopping for v day gift!:D
