the weekend
a lot has happened since the last time i wrote. there are only so many emotions that a human can experience in a given day and i am pretty sure last week i was feeling everything. i am officially done with college. friday was my last day student teaching. the excitement of my last day was minimized because my gpa passed away thursday morning. i am heading home this week to go to the funeral and stuff. i feel like whenever something happens....it all happens at once. i haven't really cried yet. i feel numb. i know it is going to hit me hard driving home tomorrow and actually going to the showing. i feel like i am being pulled in so many directions right now.
on a lighter note, my sister, mom, and nephew came to visit me. we had so much fun. they got here friday evening and we started playing you honk. (well, we were actually playing when they got here, but they joined in.) my mom was HILARIOUS!!! then my mom took brandon back to the hotel and michele partied with us. we played corn hole, you honk, and took a trip to taco bell. too funny to even explain. only soho and michele would truly appreciate an explanation. the good news is the guy at the window said he had seen worse. gee...thanks. we had the giggles.
it has been sooooo hot here. i think the tornado sirens are going off right now. hehe.
i ordered my students puffer balls as a going away present, but they got here friday so i am going to take them in to them tomorrow before i head home. the other teachers at the school are going to hate me. there are going to be 100 flourescent balls flying around the halls.
i feel too blah to write much more. hopefully things will be more exciting next week.
