Sometimes in life, something comes along as a blessing. Something sent by some sort of otherworldy thingamabob. Well, I do believe that is what happened when I finally discovered the event that worked.
It's taken me 1.5 years to finally find that event. But I believe I can make that time up.
For this event, a partner is needed. And oh dear lord, did I find a partner. Someone who I believe to be one of the greatest actors I've met, one of the greatest people I know, and an AMAZING partner.
But I must say, Damn homecoming dances.
In short, Erin and I placed FIRST in Junior Dual Interpretation. I am going to write a letter to Bill Bryson thanking him.
2 rounds, 1 final, lots of waiting, memerization, After school spent in Bart's room, and lots and lots of cutting paid off.
And the crowd loved the piece of paper being Erin.
