[There is a sound of rustling bushes as a short boy stumbles out of the woods, looking rather dishevelled and exhausted. It seems that he got rained on while trying to find a way out, the poor kid. He looks quite relieved at seeing some semblance of shelter around

[Tear pauses in her training (since that's all she's been doing outside of work for the past few days) and turns toward the noise, spotting the worn out boy. The Oracle Knight sets her staff aside and steps briskly over to where he is.]

Are you okay? You look as if you've been wandering around in the wilderness for a very long time.

If you're seeking shelter, the apartments aren't far from here. The cafe is fairly close as well.

[Wonders silently if this kid is going to be all right and whether he needs healing.]

[He shivers from being soaked, but manages to smile anyway]

Oh...I don't think it's been that long. Maybe just a few hours.

I'm afraid I don't have money for food or for a stay, though. Would you know if the cafe owner would mind if I borrowed their washroom for a bit?

[Frowns out of concern. Relatively cute kid is shivering and soaked to the bone? This won't do at all.]

[Sternly.] Just a few hours?? The weather here is completely unpredictable. You could easily come down with a fever, catch pneumonia, or worse.

[Lightens up just a little.] I don't think he'd mind too much. If you'll come with me, I can take you to the cafe, since it's closer. I work there as a waitress, so borrowing the washroom for a little while shouldn't be a problem. Besides, you look exhausted. I can't exactly let you continue wandering around on your own; you might collapse.

[Sigh.] And money isn't the problem. Everyone who gets brought here receives board and meals for free.

Only if it isn't too much trouble for you. I don't want to inconvenience you otherwise, Miss...?

Yes, you don't have to pay for them. They're included in whatever you wish to refer to this situation as - the arriving here without any memories.

And it isn't any trouble, because it's my duty as an Oracle Knight to assist civilians. Rather, I wouldn't be doing my job if I left you here without help... Ion, was it?

There should be plenty of clean towels in the washroom, although I'm not sure about spare clothes*. In the meantime we can try to find out where you'll be staying. Everyone gets an assigned room in the apartment complex, usually with at least one roommate.

Tear then. I'm not quite sure what an Oracle Knight is, but it does sound like a noble duty.

I'm fine with not changing out of these yet, though I'd like to at least dry off. It is rather embarrassing to be squelching around in all these wet things.

I'm not quite sure what their purpose is either, unfortunately. However, I still intend to help those in need, if not because I'm a knight, then because there were people to help me when I first came here.

Well, I suppose we'll figure something out.

[She retrieves her staff and uses it to motion in the direction of the cafe.] Come on, let's go. The sooner we get you indoors, the better.

[Tear ushers the drenched fon master inside the cafe, flicking on the lights.]

The washroom's straight back and to the right, you can't miss it. If you need anything else, just let me know.

[He nods and goes in. Some time later, he comes out. His clothes are still rather wet, but at least they don't look as drenched as they were earlier. Neither does he, for that matter.]

It does feel much better not soaked to the bone. Thank you.
