100 Drabbles of Summer } 93) Breakdown

Who did this girl think she was? What gave her the right to put her filthy hands on Lycus Apollonides? Absolutely not. And then, as if that weren't bad enough, she saw him put his hands on her, too. Saw him follow curves that Lisa didn't have, saw him bow his head to trail kisses over skin tanner and softer than Lisa's own. Saw him breathe in the scent of hair far darker than Lisa's, too.

There were no circumstances under which that would ever be acceptable. She'd uprooted her entire life to become a Spade and be with him. So that they could live their lives together and take over like it was in their destiny to do. It was written in the stars that they would be the next King and Queen.

And there was no way that Lisa would allow herself to be usurped by this born-and-raised Spade bitch who thought that she was entitled to Lycus' cock just because he smiled at her.

There was screaming involved in the murder, to be honest. And the body was disposed of in a fireplace in a room that hadn't seen the light of day in decades. It was perfect.

The girl's left thumb and a lock of her perfect black hair were delivered to Lycus in a tiny pine box the following morning, along with a note in Lisa's flowing, girly script:

Lycus,
I handled your problem for you. I knew you wouldn't mind. I love you.

♥Lisa
