I know this is irrelevant, but so am I

I was in at a diner in town this evening with my Mom.
I spotted two couples sitting at a table, they were my age.
The boy's plates were completely empty, their food was all gone.
But the chick's plates were full, their fries and chicken still remained.

It was just a reminder of the state in which our culture is in. It seems as if WOMEN are no longer permitted to EAT in front of MEN.
It seems that us women are ashamed to be seen eating anything that isn't made of lettuce or an energy bar,
It just made me really, really SAD to think that I, as a female, am put in the position of feeling ashamed or inadequate, if i happen to be over the 105 LB MARK!
However, I find it HILARIOUS that females would ever think to leave behind a full place of DECENT food, to get a guy. but HONESTLY, men do not CARE. They are left feeling confused, wondering, "geez, why does she always order a salad?... Did she eat lunch?"

I don't know, all I know is that I am no FEMINIST. but I just found it really disappointing, for a young lady to go hungry... And all for sex she won't enjoy.

EDIT- actually, I take back that "I am no FEMINIST" remark. I am a feminist, in my own way. As a female in the 21st century, I owe it to myself and to other women, to be a feminist. Why have us females resorted to admitting, "hey, I am NO feminist, but..". Is it because we fear the reactions of men if we do proclaim that we in fact feminists?
