Why does everyone keep bringing up the fact that pseudophedrine can be cooked down into meth when they talk about Olympic athletes not being able to take it? A) Nicklas Backstrom didn't test positive for meth. B) Meth doesn't make you extra good at sports, so probably athletes are just taking pseudophedrine straight if they are taking it, instead

Oh gosh, anything! Or very nearly! There are just so many things to ship on nearly all the Olympic hockey teams, I find it hard to know where to begin. It felt like the whole Olympics there was a new pic every five minutes containing some ship I'd never thought of, but required at least six epics about immediately. I want all the fics about Lu flirting like crazy with everyone after the gold medal game, about PK and Tavares being giddily happy together (for that matter, about PK hooking up with everyone in his very convenient single room), about Sid and Shea hustling people at pool/for threesomes, about Karlsson and Alfredsson going absolutely everywhere together and hugging. All the celebratory orgies, all the h/c... SO MANY THINGS.

So, what are your Olympics ships? :D

I require 30000k more words about Sid and Shea, and also Sharpy bugging the hell out of Tazer. I am also 100% behind any and all h/c for Team Russia. But I mostly came out of the Olympics shipping the ice dancers and feeling very confused about the whole thing.

Yesssssss. I love that Shea and Sid are completely inseparable when they're on a team together and I need so much fic exploring that. Team Russia h/c...is tricky for me? Because I can be sad for Ovi or Sasha Semin or individuals, but when it's Team Russia as a whole, mostly I remember that their loss made Putin sad and embarrassed and that pleases me.

Ice dancers, I know nothing about, tbh.What do you ship?

I just want the NHL players to have nice things (most specifically for me, Geno and Bobrovsky, although I do also feel really bad for Ovi).

So the number one and number two ice dancing pairs have both been together for FOREVER, and are BFFs, and adorable, and I'm trying to decide whether I ship them as two pairs on as an OT4. Or both, both is good. The Americans, current number ones, are Charlie White and Meryl Davis (he's like a golden retriever, she looks like a Disney Princess), and the Canadians who are current number twos are Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue (his crush on her is visible from space, they're so cute together). They train in the same complex, or they used to - Scott and Tessa have been considering getting a new coach - and they're all pretty good friends.

Reasonable. I am less worried about Geno, if only because several other people seem to already be on writing alllll the h/c about him, but poor Bob!

Aww. :3 I have seen assorted gifsets of all these people, but that's most of what I know, aside from people gossiping on twitter. I like OT4s, but possibly that's just because I make things complicated for no good reason. ;)

See, I really like happy poly relationships in fic, but they are very complicated, I agree. They're all so cute, though!

Also, Carey Price and PK Subban. I'd really, really like to see some Olympics fic for them - how did I forget that earlier??

So difficult! Either you're making it real and then you have to deal with so many different emotions, or you're not, but then there's all those limbs! ;)

Yes! In some ways I don't want it as much because you can always write about them in Montreal? But that just means it's at my baseline level of wanting Carey/PK, which is always. But there should definitely be fic about Carey escaping from his three person room of crazy goalies to go hang out with PK in his single, and also about Carey not letting PK kiss him on the ice. :3

I am always 100% behind more PK/Carey - I want ALL THE STORIES about both of them (flee the crazy goalies, Carey! PK will welcome you with open arms!) both in the Olympics and at home in Montreal (why is there not more fic for them, whyyyy - I am totally open to being prompted with PK/Carey fic, fyi - I'm attempting to be proactive about getting them more fic, but I want to READ it, not write it all :().

There's so little about them, it really does leave the field wide open! Most of the classic tropefic hasn't even been written! Everything about their relationship is super good for me, but ugh, finding plots is so harddddd. Not that I wouldn't read a million words that was just them being giddily happy about being in Sochi and having awkward sex on teeny beds and then a lot of super jetlagged celebratory sex in Montreal because they had to put it off long enough going to the parade and being on planes and so forth and they're doing it NOW, damnit, despite the fact that their brains are coming out of their ears and they don't know what time it is.

I kind of want to write the one where Carey teases PK about his giant crushes on all the vets on Team Canada and PK retaliates by spending the Olympics coming up with all these elaborate joke Team Canada threesome scenarios at which Carey is totally not laughing at all, that's traumatising, PK, that was a disgusted noise, not a chuckle. But, y'know, writing, it's hard. :P

I personally would read all the words of this plot of yours (ugh WRITING, why did I decide I wanted to write things???) or, you know any of those plots. PK/Carey ftw!

They're super great! Sorry, I'm totally failing at prompts here, but that's what happens when I want all the things with the force of a thousand suns! I want the serious ones about Carey defending PK all the times he's not allowed to defend himself from totally nuts criticism, and also all the fluffy ones where PK is baffled by Carey's suit choices, but also finds it super endearing how strongly Carey is his own person. Also Carey and his dad after the gold medal game gave me so many feelings, though I don't know what I want to do with them. ;_;

That was such an adorable moment!! I wasn't really cheering for the Canadians (I was too bitter about America's defeat) but I was so glad that Carey did well, and that moment made my heart grow at least three sizes.
