help a handicapable sister out?
i have about 4 more weeks of being in a splint/cast. i sort of realized in the last couple days that i really should be wearing a sling because my hand fucking hurts and i keep forgetting to take pain pills.
anyone know anyone who can whip one up pretty quickly? if i recall, tara made me one ages ago - but i'm not sure it made the move. did i make this up? i definitely had one more decorated with pins and shit. that didn't make the move either.
here's the rub: my burlesque teacher is going to have me be a stagehand at an oscar party/show next weekend. i'll be half naked cleaning up bras and shit from the floor.
i NEED an amazing sling that i can wear "on stage." i looked on etsy and, well, nothing's particular sparkly. or amazing. skymall has one, but it's $40 and would likely take two years to get here.
