I was so excited when I found alchemy on Etsy. I have this ugly sling bag that fits me perfectly. Except the ugly part (yeah yeah, peanut gallery, shut yer yaps). Enter Alchemy - handful of people offer to dupe my bag at a totally reasonable price. I pick a lady ... then the shit blew up.
I don't even know what happened. I'm not particularly inclined to believe any - let alone all - of what her excuses were. It's possible she was telling the truth when she said she sent my original bag and fabric back to me.
But now I'm burned on Alchemy and don't really feel like going through that again. Am I being a baby? I really do want this bag duplicated. With the RA getting worse, it just makes my life easier to have a bag that distributes its weight just right. Such a difference.
So there are two questions here ... do i try again on Etsy? (Assuming I even get the original bag and fabric back from the woman who went pear shaped - I'm going to have to figure out a way to ensure they're returned if another transation fails.) I would love to find someone locally, but have no idea where to start. Ideas?
Cheap would be nice. I mean, I know I could go find a seamstress somewhere, but I worry it could end up costing a fortune. So this is where I'm stuck.
