trying to win shoes
my favorite shoes are the prize from the shoe store in some stupid twitter contest. so i've written some haikus that should ensure i win. (sadly, they're not giving away the yellow patent clogs i want ... but the blue paisley sandal things will do.)
here are my haikus (one a day)

oh, late night haiku,
how can 19 syllables
describe mush clog love?
it's easy, said the
haiku. "walking on clouds of
marshmallows" is five

my milkshake brings all
the boys to the yard, but my
mush mush clogs don't hurt
*******
blue paisleys, when you
are mine, i will walk and mush.
open-toe heaven
(this one isn't as clever, but it's about the specific ones i want to win)

yes, lady, i wear
orange patent clogs, hate the
player, not the shoes

i think my chances should be good. right? the next question is if i finally just get the yellow patent shoes i've been coveting. these shoes are like walking on marshmallows - amazing if you have RA. i'm already eyeing two pairs of mary janes for fall! (hence not buying the yellow patent - i have orange, fuschia and blue. but yellow!!)
