Frustration...

So, over the past couple weeks, I have been looking into buying a new laptop. I thought I had finally decided on the one I wanted. I ordered a Sager computer (they're known for good computers and good service). Plus the one I ordered was a bit on sale. After waiting a week or so for the order to be processed and shipped, it finally arrived.

And I was very disappointed. The build of the computer is great. The components on the inside are great. The overall look of the computer is great. The monitor on the other hand...

It's really really dim. I knew the "matte" finish monitor would be a bit less rich in colors than my previous Sony's glossy finish, but not dim. This monitor is about 1/2 as dim as my previous computer (probably previous 2). Luckily, Sager has a 30-day money back guarantee which I'll be taking advantage of. Unfortunately, I have to pay shipping to send it back (once I get an RM #). What a pain. I guess I'll go back to my original though of what computer I want. But, it's annoying having to go back into the "search" process again. *sigh*

Today is the first day of Spring Break, so things are really slow as expected. But, for me, that's a good thing because it'll give me time to do some job searching (and now computer searching AGAIN).

This Friday I'm heading into Tokyo to talk with a headhunting company as well. Hopefully something will come out of that. Not sure though. We'll see.
