New Orleans and Jr. High Youth Rally
Wow, what an eventful day I have had today. It has been a not stop day and I am sooooo tired. Well I woke up @ 9. Lauren called and they had made plans to go to New Orlenans for 1030, but I did not think that I would have enough time to go there and also be in time for Youth Rally. Well my heart got the better of me and I decided to go. I would be cutting it close but I wanted to go to the museam bc I havent been in 3 years. So I get ready and go over to Laurens and meet up with her Jake, Carolyn and Ebey. Well Ebey goes to get gas so we dont leave till 11 and I have to be back in BR for 3. So we go leave and Lauren Jake and Carolyn take my car and me and Ebes go in his. Am I stupid??? Yes! Why im my right mind did I let Lauren one of the worst drivers EVER drive my car who knows. Well we all get there and after 20 min driving in downtown the guys decide to go to the D-day museam for 30 min while the girls go to the Riverwalk to shop. So the guys go to the museam we take a few pic on the way. Nice ass shot of ebes, lmao. And we walk in take a few pics in the 1st main room. They needed a pic of them there to get 20 bonus points, so we took them, had the peeps who work there give us funny looks and then we decided to screw it and leave. We left and played in the push doors like in NY and then we left to meet the girls. We got there and went and got some food @ Popeyes and went outside to eat. We had all the pigions and seagulls flying around for food. Hit a few in the head cause them come up right to u and NEVER leave. Saw a few helicopters and barges and then went around on the Walk to a few stores. Got some funny pics and then left @ 2 cause i needed to be back for 3. So we all left, ebes and I left and sped up and got there for like 245. He is a crazy speed demion but hey it was a fun ride back and had some good laughs. Cant wait for the Porgy, lmao. So we get home and I get ready and then the others get her and I drive them to Laurens drop them off and go to DYB!!! So I get there and wait for FeFe my partner in crime for Our Lady of Mercy. I love her soo much. I swear we have been through so much together, she is like a younger sister but without the fighting and we like each other. So we go and I get my room ready for my workshop with Lindsay Key who is another one of my gals. Everyone starts to get there and we are all doing whatever and just chillin and trying to get it all together. I still dont see how we did it all, lol. So then Ebes calls and wants to install one of his games that wont work on his comp. Its FF11 an online game and he has been payin a fee for like 3 months without playing and ive told him since he got it to put it on mine till he got his and FINALLY he called and asked if he could. So he went over to my house w/o anyone home like usual and just chilled and did who knows what. So Rally starts and I am doing the name tag table and then we do an ice breaker and go into the main autotoriam. Andrew and Stephanie start us off with a skit bc they are the mc's. And we sing and dance with the house band of lauren, dougie, chad, neal and others. Wow the main part sucked but oh the times in between were awesome. I had sooo much fun with my DYB friends. I am gonna miss them to death. We were all talking and we are like a cult of all nice people, lmao. But I really am gonna miss them. But anyhoo we have pizza from Jr. High days(like SHS school pizza, blah), no pun intended. And me and lynn go to our small group. We have the sitting game and we have 2 circuits. Basically everyone gets into a circle and after getting situated you sit on each others knees and then u walk(or really wobble with baby steps). lol. It was fun. OH and a shout out to Ashley and Jarred and Sara(Captain) for helping with the game, yall saved me. So we start off and are really goofy and we get the first circuit to get it somewhat. Oh and also a thanks to Claire who told the first group to call me ManCandy, bc she called me that for my b-day. So the whole first group called me that and now all DYB calls me that too. We talk about trust and stuff and have some scripture Phil. 4:13 i think and then do it again and they do it awesome. Then we open to discusion and we have a pretty good one on some stuff but mainly christ and such in public schools cause 80% or more of both groups were public schools. So it was cool. The 2nd group did not get it after 5 tries. They were SOOOOOO much better off with the same size and a much smaller group, but there was a stupied girl who was not into it and ruined it both times, the little hoe. And then some boys who were too imature to do it. So we talked but they were far more talkative but they also went into more actual REAl problems that were a little intinse for me(bullied and pushed around and her mom not loveing her and other weird issues), lol. But all it all, it was fun. It was cool but also weird being in charge but i could see myself doing it again. I gave good advice to the 2nd group for HS and I know that Lynn did. I was so glad I did it with her she did an awesome job and brought up things and views I did not think off. I was lucky to have her. So we clean up a bit after and then mosy on back to the thing ang have the end of it with a candle light farwell. But it was a lot of funn. Afterwards was the best part talking to everyone and I got a letter A from the sign and peeps signed it, so I have a cool suvinear. Then Bridget left with me and we went to join up with Ebes who had left and then came back to my house. He got the game to work and he has to leaning it until and 30 min ago when he went to bed. He has died 3 times and its soo funny, but not really cause i know its frustrating, but he loves it so im glad he can play it. And then Lauren and jake and eloy and his gf all stopped by during the night. Jake was going out again tonight and we went with eloy and allison his gf to get ice cream and it was closed so we went to citiplace to do some electocuting machine and it was locked. Some peeps were leavin so we got in but then they saw the cop come up and they freacked and left and they were all giddy about a stupid cop that couldnt do anything to them, what losers. SO we go home and lauren cam over with pizza from work. Her and Brid actaully talked and are now good friends. This is cool bc before lauren hated her bc she was stupid and prejudged but now are very cool. And I learned some interesting things from many peeps today and It is crazy how many things are so funny and weird. But I love all my friends and its all cool. But the girls left and me and ebes chilled and now im goin to bed. I have CHS Prom 2004 in like 15 hours so I need sleep. But today was so sweet and tonight is gonna be so much sweeter.
