You can't just fill that hole with whoever you want to

I'm totally into my brother's PS2 right now, even though I know I should post in several places, but what can I say - The Force is going strong in my PS2!
Because I'm bored like hell and don't have any other hobbies, I created Sam and Dean as Sims and let them move in together. I'm totally impressed by myself, because I even took the time to make their personalities fitting and even the looks.
So, my Sim-Dean wants to party all the time and find love (and I have to accept his wishes so I can buy new things that are locked up yet), therefore I throw party after party and try to get him a girl. Not working, because they always end up as merely friends. I'm totally frustrated and try to find him some guy, because you just never know. But it's not working either.
At another Sim-party I'm fed up with that and switch over to Sim-Sam, who's in a bad mood and of course I have to cheer him up. I look at his wishes and suddenly there's something like 'testing if Sim-Dean wants more than a friendship' right after 'playing chess' (I said my characterization rocks, didn't I?). And I'm all like WTF, but I do it anyway to get a few bonus points and be able to buy a new item.
And DAMN, but this Sim-Dean is more than willing to try more than a friendship.
I bought them a larger bed already.
