Has anyone heard The Haunting of Thomas Brewster yet? I listened to it this weekend:

I enjoyed the first two parts a lot; especially the Dickensian part one narrated by Thomas, with Five and Nyssa only appearing for a few lines at a time. I love the idea of the Doctor spending a year in Victorian London waiting for lost-in-time Nyssa (giving lectures to the Royal Society! And he has facial hair!) but I was less than impressed with supposed new companion Robert; the actor wasn't very good - Brewster and Pickens were both miles better - though I was slashily intrigued by all this 'deeply hurt at not being taken into the Doctor's confidence' stuff. And the fact that they've been living together for a year. Oh, and he died, but that timeline possibly got wiped out so it's not necessarily a barrier to companionhood; I'd rather have Thomas back, though, and since the story ends on a cliffhanger with him swiping the TARDIS it looks like I'm in luck. (The next Five audio's a Nyssa one and it's called The Boy That Time Forgot, so presumably it's part two of this story. They're a wily bunch at Big Finish; I'm going to have to renew my subscription now...

The one major annoyance was part three, which consisted of lots of running around trying to keep killer fog creatures out of the house - unfortunately this meant all four of the main characters getting handed the Idiot Ball; not one of them thinks of blocking the chimneys? And neither the Doctor or Nyssa consider getting into the TARDIS which is inside the house with them?
