This is very nicely done - both Five and Nyssa sound like they're straight out out of Circular Time.

Just lovely.

I really think that Nyssa is hideously underrated (not sure why I think that, unless I underrate her?), but I'm so glad to hear her voice here, all intelligence and thoughtfulness. This is a great tag, and you capture their voices perfectly. Thanks for a wonderful character vignette.

My pleasure! Thank *you* for a lovely comment. I think Nyssa in the TV series suffered from poor writing and missed opportunities-- how do you kill off a character's planet, and then NOT use the resulting angst as a dramatic device??

But I know Peter Davison considered Nyssa to be his Doctor's best companion; when the writers wanted to kill of one of the overcrowded TARDIS crew, he argued strenuously that it shouldn't be Nyssa.

The BF audios go a long way to making her character what it should have been, just like the audios do that for Colin Baker's Doctor (...ish being the best example).

I didn't know this about Davison and Nyssa's character-I am glad he boosted for her, and I think they make a great team. She's presented as useful and smart in the audios, although she of course has to do her share of fainting. I do like the way they revisit Traken and face the devastation head-on.

Why, thank you!

'Circular Time: Autumn' may just be my favorite Big Finish play, well, *ever*-- so, how excited was I when I got a ficathon prompt asking for a coda? :-)

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I loved 'Circular Time,' particularly 'Autumn' (though I did spend much of it shouting, "YOU CAN DO BETTER, NYSSA!" at my computer screen :P). I recently got into the audios, and they fill me with so much glee! I miss Old School Who, and it's such a great way to continue the older doctors' adventures. ^_^

Yup! Big Finish is Old Skool Who for grown ups. I'm so pleased that even the Doctors who got shafted by the BBC (Colin Baker, Paul McGann) came back to play their old roles.

As a whole, the writing and acting is of a really exceptional calibre.
