It's with great sadness that I heard the
news this morning that Nicholas Courtney, best known for playing Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart, has passed away.
I knew he'd been ill lately but I'd hoped he'd recover and go on for several more years yet. (Secretly, I hoped he was as immortal as the Doctor.) It seems terribly wrong that there's no more Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart in the world today.
I foresee some relistening of my copies of Old Soldiers, The Spectre of Lanyon Moor, and the two Doctor Who Unbounds coming on.
