It's been awhile...
...and indeed it has since I've last updated this journal. I blame my lack of updates on a wide-range of reasons including academic obligations and the lack of motivation to write anything here. I guess I haven't had much to say for a long time and I don't think that has changed just yet.
So enough about the space in between and moving on to the present. I'm currently sitting my two final papers for the year and by Wednesday I should be about done. Right now I should be studying but heck, that can wait 5 more minutes being the professional procrastinator that I am.
Anyways, I got an interesting text message from my uncle. He usually keeps me and the rest of the extended family updated on his whereabouts. This time around, I got another offer from his this year to meet him up in Beijing and/or Hong Kong. Obviously I was nothing short of excited. However, this time around he's making me a proposition; a fully subsidized trip in exchange for me writing a couple of articles for a magazine. I'll be getting the details through email but looking at the deal the way it is; I can't help but find it mighty appealing.
Other than that, I've got nothing else to say really.
