Too Busy for Words
WOW! What a long day it has been. All of my classes just seem to get longer and longer every time I go. We had our first of 3 candidates for our new trombone professor come in today and perform a recital and do a master class. He was awesome. He is from Tennessee Tech. His teaching style is so much more organized than what I have been previously accustomed to. We'll just have to see how the other two teach and perform.
Elmer, I have been looking for you all day. I just want to know how you're interview went. Call me or write me. It will be greatly appreciated.
I found out this morning that I was chosen out of 20 other choral conducting students to teach and conduct a piece at the university singers concert. Even though they are the last of 4 choirs. I still consider it a great honor.
I hope my easter cantata goes over well. I feel like I don't have any time to make it perfect. We'll just have to see how that goes.
