Kitten, Rennaissance, Facebook

Last night while driving to work I saw an orange kitten in the gutter, and swerved away. When I pulled over and looked for it, it was gone. I didn't look long because a scruffy old junkie asked me if I needed help, then started asking for spare change.
I feel bad for the poor kitten. Odds are it's a stray.

I'm going to make a new Facebook page but need to think up a last name. I considered McDude, but I think it sounds kinda dumb.

I bought a Renaissance shirt last week online to use this past weekend. Even though I ordered a large, it came as about a 45" chest, and it's huge. There's enough fabric in the sleeves and body for a 400 pound man, and on me I could lift my arms up in a tornado and fly to Boston. So I was unable to use it this last weekend.

I ended up dressing in my old stuff. It didn't quite work out though because, once again, the line of cars to get in was a couple miles long. And my mother picked me up 45 minutes after I was ready, so we got there late. I don't know why this Renaissance Fair is so busy all the time.

What's stumping me is how I should set up my period costume. I kinda have an idea on what I want to look like. The problem is, I also want it to be period accurate. So I'm confused on whether I should go with something that's more period but not quite what I want, or go with something I want more but have it not be period.
