FAILWEEK! *headdesk*

Yep. That's how things have gone besides the small convention I went to yesterday (and still burned my hand with a soldering iron!)

Turns out I accidentally deleted a very long draft of a post here that I really don't want to retype. Why doesn't LJ allow you to save drafts? I thought you could.. but I guess not. Faaaaaiilllll....

The past two weeks I've been having trouble doing my Android homework because the programming software required doesn't run on my old-ass laptop, and is not installed on school computers besides the classroom our class uses (which is often full with other classes). Normally I could download/install easily on school computers, but the past couple weeks the software would take FOREVER to download/install. Not sure if it was the school's network's fault, or Google's server's fault (that's where the plugins come from). I almost want to say the school servers, because now most classes are over I can actually download shit again.
I Spent more time downloading stuff than actually working on stuff.

First project... part of it would not work at all, and I only got it working by the last day of class.

Second project would not work at all, and I had to present it that last class day. Do you know how embarrassing it is to not have anything working right when you're supposed to present? You know how stressful it is when the second final project you're supposed to present is normally 150 points?! And you think you'll lose an entire grade if it's not working?!

"Hello, this is my android app. It's a blank screen. Yes, I spent many hours programming this awesome blank screen. I think that no smartphone will be complete without this blank screen. And if you order my blank screen, I will throw in an eventual crash message, absolutely free!"

Actually gave me serious pause and made me wonder if I was in the right career path.

I finally did get it to work (sort of, there's no blank screen at least) today. The teacher said I could come in and we'd try to fix the project. So there's that.
