Cold made me miss rock concert
This cold I've been having since last Saturday is driving me batty insane.
It started, as it always does, with a sore throat and runny nose, and I was popping cough drops like a user. Now the sore throat is gone and replaced by a cough that only comes up at the worst times, like when I'm driving for my job or walking outside or TRYING TO SLEEP. Not when, say, I'm in a nice warm climate-controlled building like this one.
And apparently drugging myself to death doesn't help either. I tried that last night with Niquil and I still woke up a few times coughing.
I wanted to go to a concert yesterday night for Five Finger Death Punch, All That Remains, and Hatebreed. It would have been a cheap concert, only $25, and 20 minute drive from my house. I didn't really feel like going though after I couldn't sleep well the night before because I woke up with constant dry coughing and had trouble staying asleep. The thing is I felt somewhat better around the time of the concert, well enough I may have been able to go.
Oh well, the venue was so tiny (a local minor-league ice rink, I kid you not) the tickets would have been sold out ages ago.
I guess I can save my money for the Rammstein concert in May, if it's not expensive and the tickets aren't sold out already. I just need someone to go with!!!!
