Stupidbowl 2011
As everyone was predicting the Steelers would win, and they've won too many times lately anyway, I rooted for the Packers. So did my aunt who screamed at the TV most of the game.
I would have loved to see the faces of Steelers fans during the game. They were never even ahead the entire game.
Halftime show was kinda blah. Slash made it slightly better. It at least made me happy to see him. GnR needs to stop fighting and do a reunion tour. I did like the light up suits though. Although it's gimmicky and has been done before, I think it's neat when you have people in lit suits making various moving patterns by dancing.
As for the Commercials....
They mostly sucked.
The Ozzy/Beiber commerical was shit. It implied that Ozzy was obsolete and replaced by the better Beiber. And he didn't bite Beiber's head off.
Enough of the E-trade baby! God that's gotten old like 5 fucking years ago.
There were a few amusing ones though. The "Reply All"Bridgestone one. The Chevy Silverado acting like Lassie one. The Doritos bringing things back to life. The Snickers logging one.
The Eminem Chrysler 200 commercial made me feel pretty good. It was entirely filmed in Detroit, BTW. I recognized most of the locations.
The Kia commercial where the car got stolen several times was awesome. The Hyundai hypnosis one was cool as well. The child Vader one was just darn cute. The Coke Yetis vs. Orcs was awesome. The Motorola 1984 Tablet commercial just made me go awwww. And the Camaro with the two narrators was worth a laugh.
