FUCKING SNOW
Haven't been on LJ in a while thanks to school/work/slavery.
We just got shit on by God. In the form of a ton of white powdery stuff.
This entire weekend's been a bit like hell when it comes to work.
See, if you send out your contact info, people give you tips for delivering their papers. I had one lady stop me on my route this morning and give me $50 and she felt so sorry I was out in the cold and snow. It was almost worth it. But putting the contact info in each paper takes time and it slows me down, so I've been taking longer to actually finish the route. Sunday morning I didn't finish until almost 7am, when I usually finish around 5:30am.
This morning, thanks to the mountain of snow that hit us, the newspapers were delivered late. Plus, it slowed me down. I got stuck when I stopped on hills, even shallow hills, and couldn't continue up the hill because the wheels spun and the car didn't move. I almost got stuck in deep snow drifts a couple times as well.
I did not finish until 8am.
So I set my alarm for about 2pm, so I can get up, take care of something manditory, and go to class for my presentation and to get instructions on the final on Wed.
I forget to turn on the alarm.
So I get up at 4pm. Class is already started. But I had to run to take care of that other thing that if I didn't take care of I could be fined or worse, and by the time I got to school the class was over. I missed my presentation time. I missed the chance to find out what group I should be in for the final and what I should do. The final is on Wed.

Not to mention all the traffic and accidents I've avoided.
