Oh I've been had!
This has to be one of the first years I haven't had a prank to do. But I expected no one would be able to fool me today.
I was wrong.
I was visiting a site I sometimes visit only to find the front page gone and replaced by some Christian Family organization that's out to purify the web of evil and sin.
I thought it was for real. I was fuming mad. I wasn't about to let some fundie bastards censor my web. I flipped out. I was ranting and raving and about to get on every chat room and board I knew and scream my lungs out. I was about to go into epic battle against the forces of religious retardedness, cutting the throats of the believers and burning their bibles.
Then, after about 2-3 minutes, I remembered what day it was. And I went to the site, which had been replaced by a page saying it was taken down by a christian organization, and found a link to click. And the link led me to the true website, which was still up.
Good one. You got me good. I applaud them for a very good prank done very well. To have fooled me, even.
Also, Youtube's "Text" videos are pretty cool too. Too bad they won't have them up after tomorrow.
