Fire at the auto show the day AFTER I went. Luckily, I picked the right day. The key word in that article is $175,000 Audi Spyder... fuck you I'm not paying $175k for a fucking car.
There weren't a lot of awesome futuristic-looking concepts so I don't really have any photos of those.
GM had a lot of hybrids though, including hybrid trucks. Yes, a giant hybrid truck. So that way it does 15 mpg instead of 10mpg. GM had a prototype of it's upcoming Volt plug-in, and a new 2-door Aveo sport version. Chrysler had NOTHING. No, seriously, not a single hybrid or plug-in electric. And people wonder why they FAIL. Ford had the new Ford Fiesta hatchback, as well as the new Focus hatchback, Focus plug-in hybrid, and Fusion hybrid. There was also an exhibit that showed off the Ford Escape Hybrid's parking assist where the SUV would parallel park itself. Honda had a new hybrid, the CR-Z, which is a 3-door hatchback based off the old Civic CRX, as well as the Civic hybrid and civic natural gas cars. Toyota had a redesigned plug-in Prius plus the FC-TH, a 2-door plug in hybrid. VW had several small clean-diesel cars, the GTI and the Passat, and a new hyrbid.
