I only have my self to blame for procrastinating
First off, from my random surfing of the web, this sure doesn't look like a Batman utility belt...
I am an idiot. And if I don't get my Renaissance clothing in the mail by next Sunday it's my fault for waiting until the last minute. But it's not entirely my fault as I wanted to look around locally before I bought online. And I wanted to start shopping last weekend.
Saturday I had wanted to go to a local thrift shop that's only open Sat mornings, but had to work all day. Sunday I had to drive my grandpa around. Monday... I forget but I remember stopping by work and shopping for groceries.
Tuesday I finally was able to get out and go to about 4 thrift shops. I didn't find anything except for a nice belt that was brown instead of black, and I didn't have any money on me. I also had to look for stuff to fix my bike as well.
I didn't start shopping online until Wed, and I focused on shirt even though I needed a belt and pouch worse, as I have a shirt (that's too big). But I wasn't worried about the belt because I figured I could buy the one I saw at the Salvation Army, and simple pouches go for $15 at the fair.
Thursday I was busy all day, and Friday I went out to get more stuff to fix the bike as well as buy that brown belt that I was going to try to dye black. The belt was gone.
I've spent all weekend looking, but the problem is that most places do not ship until at least Monday. And unless they ship priority it may not get here soon enough.
The other problem is, at least with shirts, is that every single renaissance shop has the exact same shirts for sale. How do I know? Because every site uses the exact same pictures for the product! So it makes it impossible to find a unique shirt after searching through 40 websites with all the same exact shit! Belts and pouches are more forgiving, as it seems each shop sells unique items.
But I have several items I like bookmarked and I emailed the shops about expedited shipping, so come tomorrow I'll buy a bunch of stuff and pray it will get here by Saturday.
