I went underneath my car yesterday to try to find the hole in my exhaust. I was shaking it under the engine to find cracks or loose parts when I realized that the only way the pipe could move like that is if the exhaust manifold itself was loose somewhere. So I shook the exhaust manifold and found it to be loose against the engine. After a half hour I had all the bolts tightened down again.
This is a very good thing. My car's been having a check engine light on for a while... mechanics couldn't find the exact problem but said it seemed like a bunch of unmetered air was getting into the engine or exhaust, and giving false reading to the oxygen sensor. This caused the computer to shoot more gas into the engine than necessary.
This fixes one problem. I still have a crack on the exhaust but I think it's an easy fix too.
Speakers:
I looked at other 5x7 speakers and found that they fit perfectly in my car... so why does this pair of 5x7's don't? I emailed the company tech support, will probably get some ESL guy from India. *rolleyes* I think I can get them to fit by modifying them, but I don't want to break them either.
There's a flash ad for a "free MMORPG" called Fiesta distracting me... the game looks kinda WoW-ish. And it has a distracting female with an axe, gauntlets, and bikini-armor which apparently protects the most important parts... the boobs, crotch, and butt, and not much else. XD
