Denied Job
Last year, I had a job for a month at a local college bookstore during the fall bookrush as people were going back to college in September.
So I figured it would be an easy task to apply for the same job and have a good chance of getting it. So I applied to it online.
A day later, and I get a email saying I've been denied for the job. fuck.
I can't even begin to explain how irritated I am. Having a near full-time job for a month would do wonders to help me out. And it's not like I was a bad employee last time, or left on bad terms, or filled out my application any later than I did last year.
They're just saying to me "We don't care how good of an employee you were last time, or how hard you worked, or how easy it would be to have you come back because we won't have to train you again. We just don't fucking like you."
Yea, and I don't like you either. I don't think they'll be getting any business from me for a while.
In better news, I had a song stuck in my head for a while and figured out which one it was.
These guys sound so much like an 80s hair metal band it's epic. I can't figure out who to compare them to, but I'm thinking Motley Crue.
